PF Registration in Bihar
We all have heard about the Employee’s Provident Fund, but today we will discuss about the procedure for registration of the Employee’s Provident Fund. So, the employees provident fund organization (EPFO) launched the employee’s provident fund (EPF) scheme, under the Employee’s Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1956. Basically, for ensuring the financial security of the employees after retirement, this scheme was designed. And according to this scheme, both the employer & the employee will contribute an equal portion of an employee’s salary to the fund.
Those type of companies whose strength is more than 20 employees, are required to get registered for EPF. In this case, the amount which will be contributed is 12% basic wages along with the dearness plus retaining allowance. On the other hand, those companies having less strength than 20 employees can also register for their employee but the amount will be 10%.
